Getting to St Peter's

By Car

St Peter’s is located in the centre of Sudbury town and can be accessed directly via the A131, which is the main road that flows through the town centre. The town centre is accessible by a one-way system.

Parking

There are 3 major car parks in Sudbury. Parking is free of charge for up to 3 hours between 9am-5pm, and free after 5pm.

Please note; St Peter’s does not accept responsibility for any parking issues or charges that may occur. However, St Peter’s will endeavour to be as helpful as possible in guiding customers to recommended parking areas.

  • Girling Street

Approximately a 3 minute walk to St Peter’s, Girling Street car park is located just off the A131 before entering the town centre and is free of charge. The maximum stay here is 3 hours.

  • Roys

Approximately a 7 minute walk to St Peter’s, Roys car park is located on Great Eastern Road and is free of charge. The maximum stay here is 3 hours.

  •  Kingfisher Leisure Centre

Located next to Roys car park, as above, the Kingfisher car park is approximately a 7 minute walk to St Peter’s and is free of charge. The maximum stay here is 3 hours. Kingfisher do have an option for a day ticket, which is £2.

By Public Transport

Sudbury has great public transport links from Colchester, Bury St Edmunds and London. Both the train station and bus station are located central to Sudbury, only a short walk to and from St Peter’s.

Train

Sudbury train station is located off Great Eastern Road, off the A131 one-way system at the roundabout (the station will be signposted) and is approximately a 10 minute walk away from St Peter’s

Bus

Sudbury bus station is located off of Great Eastern Road, off the A131 one-way system at the roundabout (the bus station will be signposted) prior to the train station and is approximately a 3 minute walk to St Peter’s.
