Friends of St Peter’s are pleased to let you know that The Churches Conservation Trust have successfully recruited a new Development Officer for the Regeneration Project at St Peter’s. Working as part of the CCT Regeneration Team, the Development Officer will be maintaining and developing existing local and regional partnerships, supporting local volunteering and fundraising, and testing new activities and income-generating uses, as well as supporting the fundraising Campaign Committee.
“I am delighted to be able to tell you that, following interviews from a strong field of candidates, Alli Burke has been appointed as Development Officer for the Regeneration Project. As many of you will know, Alli has been the Friends’ Communications Officer for the past 18 months. During that time she has given St Peter’s a real presence on social media and worked with the Mackman Group on a state of the art new website. In her work life, she has worked as Executive Assistant and later Group Operations Manager to the Board of Somerville Group (formerly based in Buzzards Hall), and is a freelance photographer. Nobody is ever in any doubt about her infectious enthusiasm and her determination to make St Peter’s a truly inclusive asset for Sudbury and its wider community. As Development Officer, a post that is scheduled to last until the end of 2019, she will be working closely with the Friends and the Churches Conservation Trust in developing the application for the Heritage Lottery Fund grant for the implementation phase of the project. All of us will be wishing Alli every success in her exciting new position”.
