St Peter’s and The Churches Conservation Trust are pleased to confirm that we have been granted £100,000 from Babergh District Council’s business rates pot, following the council’s cabinet meeting on Thursday 7th March 2019.

This marks a massive step forward in securing the £400,000 match funding that is needed in order to progress with the second stage of our application to the National Lottery Heritage Fund. This match funding is due in March 2020, for more information on the regeneration project, please visit our detailed page here.

“Everyone in Sudbury will be delighted with this news and we are very appreciative of the support Babergh is giving us.” Oliver Forder, Chair of the Friends of St Peter’s
